CMS Made Simple has released version 1.7. It drops support of PHP 4.x and requires minimum release of PHP 5.2.4. They recommend minimum of PHP 5.2.12 or 5.3.1. We are currently at PHP 5.2.12.
The only thing this release does is to break the PHP 4.x dependency. For this reason I will not be updating our sites as the only reward could be to break a site.
